Our property is located near beautiful Mirror Lake and Lake Placid at 2375 Saranac Ave in Lake Placid, NY.

Check-in is between 4 pm and 11 pm. If you'll be arriving past 11 pm, please call the hotel to let us know. Check-out time is at 11 am.

Early and late check-ins may be accommodated with advanced notice. If you expect to arrive before or after check-in hours, please notify us by calling the hotel directly as soon as possible prior to arrival.

Our hotel is happy to offer five (5) fully ADA accessible rooms in the King Accessible, King Bunk Accessible, King Suite Accessible, and Double Queen Suite Accessible categories which are bookable online or by phone. 

Yes, we do! Parking is first come first serve for our available parking spots at Laurel Lake Placid.

Yes, we are pleased to offer a complimentary grab-n-go breakfast from 7 - 8 a.m. and a continental buffet breakfast from 8 - 10 a.m. daily at our onsite lounge bar, Alpine Hall.

There may be times of the year, special events, or many weekends with minimum night stay requirements. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” Please call us directly if you have any questions.

Our destination fee at Laurel Lake Placid provides our guests with exclusive amenities and offerings for choosing to stay with us! Included in this daily fee for each booked room and their total number of guests: Daily light breakfast, parking, high speed wi-fi, and guest-first access to our public spaces (excluding the Summit Room) as well as game room. 

Yes! At Laurel Lake Placid, we believe road trips are better with the whole family, including the four-legged ones! For $45 per night, up to two dogs of any size are welcome to join your stay. We’ll provide in-room use of food and water bowls, a paw towel, and a special take-home treat for your pup. Because adventures are meant to be shared.

Dog policies:

• Dogs are the only pets allowed, and they must never be left in a guest room alone.
• While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are permitted only in the exterior common areas, and they must stay on leash. Dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces.
• As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.
• Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, they must never be left in a guest room alone, and are welcome only on our porches and exterior common areas of the hotel, and only while on leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces.

Laurel Lake Placid welcomes well-behaved children of all ages. However, at this time, we are not able to provide any cribs or pack ‘n plays. Our King, King Accessible, and King Suite Accessible rooms are able to accommodate a total of two (2) guests each, while our Deluxe King, King Junior Suite, King Suite, Double Queen, and Queen Bunk rooms are able to accommodate a total of four (4). Our other suites can accommodate up to six (6) total guests with the exception of the Party Friends (Full) Suite which can hold up to eight (8). Please note, many of our guest rooms are priced for two or four person occupancy, and a $35/person/night fee will be assessed for any additional guests. Children and infants do qualify as guests.
